Good question! This is one of the major differences between Olde World Painting and other “painters”. All work surfaces will be thoroughly prepared before paint is applied. Preparation work includes, but is not limited to: caulking, scraping, sanding, and priming drywall and raw wood.
Professionals, in every sense of the word: Trained, responsible, uniformed painters who have the greatest respect for their craftsmanship and work area. When we start your job, we stay until it is completed; no unfinished work dragging on for weeks.
No. Our trained professionals will move everything for you, place new dropcloths over your furniture, and then move everything back into place. No fuss, no muss.
What about exterior work? I have bushes, shrubs and flowers. What precautions are taken to protect them?
We treat the exterior of your home like the interior. Dropcloths are placed over everything, including bushes, trees, flowers and sidewalks. In addition, all ladders have rubber “gloves” on the ends so no siding is scratched.
Why does Olde World Painting prefer Benjamin Moore paint over Duron, Sherwin-Williams or other brand names?
Through years of experience, Old World Painting has found that Benjamin Moore is the highest quality paint. It not only looks better, it lasts longer.
Olde World Painting is fully insured and licensed by the state of Virginia.
That’s the great thing about Olde World Painting’s no deposit policy, you don’t pay until the job is complete and you are 100% satisfied!
A combination of experience and professionalism separates Old World Painting from the rest. We thoroughly prepare your home for paint, and only then, apply the highest quality paints money can buy. The result is a clean, neat paint job that will last for many years to come. Nobody does it better!
